At StairWell, we specialize in the crafting of balusters, newel posts and other stair parts from antique lumber, as well as from a variety of newly milled woods. We take pride in producing works of craftsmanship worthy of the finest homes and buildings.

Our most distinctive pieces are crafted from reclaimed antique cypress and longleaf pine provided by Antique Woods of Louisiana, yielding a look that has to be seen to be truly appreciated.

Our balusters and newel posts are available in many styles perfected in our shop over years of woodturning - or we can produce styles custom to your specifications from a sample, photo or drawing. Treads, risers and handrails, created from new or antique lumber, are also available upon request.
